So today, what can we do in the real world.

Although over the last few years we have suffered a setback, everyone agrees it has been unjust, and that the losses we have suffered through this corruption immense.

We still have the equipment necessary to produce Tv programmers from broadcast quality cameras, to editing equipment, we still have our computerized fast print on demand printer, and currently our president still has his parameter.

As at March 2002, of the three plus transit lorry loads of material taken, we have had our computers all returned, many of our video tapes and some other material. A judge last December ruled that around two transit lorry loads of material are still being held. Since that we have had one large box full returned. Their are no charges left we were cleared of any wrongdoing, the police were critisised, and newspapers asked for an inquiry. The are no investigations, inquiries or potential charges, so you might ask why we can not have the rest of our material back. We wonder the same, although suspect some of it has been distributed and some destroyed.

In the real world we are also to take a legal action for damages in order to recover some of our losses, but we expect this to take some years. 

So what are we going to do next

We are not going to restart the clubs, or try at this point to produce new TV series. The risks to individual organizers would be too great.

Other projects that were planned such as the TV channel on satellite and rehab unit cannot go ahead as we no longer have the means to fund them. We no longer have the training center.

From this you can see that our real achievements in the real world have been just about completely wiped out.

Communities are still a possibility and some work is being done on this, and we hope to publish outline information on this soon.

We have been looking at how we can act as a catalyst, to help new ideas, projects and clubs to come about and grow, but with a distributed approach with separate committees and officers. Some New Atlantis Branches outside the UK are already involved in this, or in some cases groups of people who want to improve the quality of life for people of their area or interest have come together and then joined New Atlantis.

We will look at any ideas put to us to see how we can help, and how your ideas may fit within the New Atlantis philosophy. 

For now much of our activities are around the creation of a floating continent at some point in the future and the virtual world.
